1200mm dia solid oak table with pippy oak centre panel
This is one table we feel very proud of, made from 100% English oak and pippy oak in the centre hand crafted by our very own craftsmen.
This table has an impressive look with 150mm thick by 200mm wide solid oak base feet, and a pedestal that boasts a massive 200mm thick carved and matched piece of English oak.
Now for the top,
Here we have made a circular top that has been machined and constructed like a wheel and then we let in a centre section which is made from stunning and rare matched pippy oak.
This piece is then left unstained but laquered to enhance the beauty of the grain formations in the table.
When we make this type of table with pippy oak or burr oak veneers we are very careful to match up the veneer so as to get the very best affect you will note that the top on this perticular piece looks like a butterfly or moth.
This affect in tables and furniture alike is what makes each piece we make a rare piece of furniture because no 2 are the same.
