We would like to tell you a bit about what we do at Furniture By Design.  Firstly we hand make furniture of all kinds to an extremely high standard.  We make from scratch to the finished product using the finest materials on the market, so therefore the wood is stable.  We have taken years to source one, a renewable source of wood and secondly the highest standards possible from a natural material.  Our cabinet makers understand fully the characteristics of what the wood will do in your home so therefore make  accordingly.

Detail is very important to us.  One example is we will make drawer fronts out of the same piece of wood so that the grain follows through the whole of the piece of furniture.  All doors and drawers fit perfectly and have  minimal gaps around them, the finish is of very high standards inside and outside of all cabinets,  these details are what we think make a piece of furniture. 

We in Furniture by Design are all very passionate about our furniture making and designing and aim to be the best money can buy.  We make in pine, oak, beech and walnut.  Walnut being the Rolls Royce of woods.

Our designs are well thought out as we all recognise no home is the same.  This is why we have a philosophy that says 'IF YOU CAN DRAW IT WE CAN MAKE IT'.  There is a reasonable  delivery charge for anywhere outside Norfolk and Lowestoft.   This will be arranged on processing an order.  We are a national company who have customers all over the UK.  Also if you feel you do not wish to have the knobs or handles we supply, you can always source them elsewhere and we will be happy to fit them for you, if you post them to us or bring them in.  Please call us for any enquiry and we will be glad to help you. 

Delivery charges

please note there will be a small charge for deliveries outside norwich or lowestoft.  we like to give value for money so we try very hard to keep delivery prices to a minimum so your furniture stays great value.

Any item ordered from us will take approximately 3-8 weeks to be made and delivered.
